Finally Signed for the Farm!
Well, we did it! We finally closed the farm! Quite the busy week, trying to get everything done early so we could go down to the title company on friday. We to the new place after closing to walk around and see some of the places we hadn't had a chance to get to earlier. We found some amazing riparian spots up on the north side, and walked down the creek. It was a hot day, but worth every trip. Here's Laura under one of the more rambly oaks. So now that we have officially closed, I have to line up a ton of repair work, home owner's insurance, and other things. It's going to be a busy week! This first week I'm packing up the office, and as I started I realized I have a confession to make: I have a ton of crap that I don't need/want/enjoy. Like, so much stuff that I fear I may not be able to throw it all away without taking the truck to the dump. Next weekend I'm going kayaking with an old friend that I haven't seen in far too long. ...
